Marty Dorow
Chief Research and Operations Officer

Martha “Marty” Dorow joined Naughtin Group at its founding in 2018 as Chief Research and Operations Officer. She has been in the executive search industry almost twenty years, the last twelve in a global retained firm. Marty cut her teeth in executive search at a boutique retained firm in Minneapolis after graduating with a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Dominican University/University of St. Catherine in 2000. Earlier in her career, Marty was sales manager at Equus Computer Systems, and prior to this she spent six years teaching at Seoul Foreign School in Seoul, Korea.  Besides her master’s in Library Science, Ms. Dorow has a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College.

Marty knows that the secret to a successful search is thoughtful and thorough research on the front end. She believes that fresh, cold research should always be conducted on every search, in addition to networking with existing relationships. Through her long experience in executive search, she has learned many tricks of the trade, and has a keen sense for where to find talent. Marty has researched many industries including consumer, retail, health care and life science, agribusiness, professional and financial services, and manufacturing, and has searched for talent in almost every executive function. On every search launch, she works with the search consultants to develop a target list of companies that will likely deliver candidates to every project, then generates a list of potential candidates from those companies. She continues to manage each project’s progress and data generation, constantly seeking potential talent until the final stage of each search. Marty’s experience and skill in research accelerates the momentum of each search project, which leads to an expeditious and successful placement.
